This is one of three known original C-2 Corvette (1962-1966) cut-away chassis displays produced by General Motors for the auto show circuit. This elaborate, detailed, and motorized exhibit dramatically showcases the Corvette in full motion. While the tires turned, you notice the 4-wheel disc brakes and independent suspension moving up and down. The inner workings of the 4-speed synchro-mesh transmission became evident as being pushed along by the Ramjet 327 fuel-injected power plant.
