In this video of Jake and Joel are Magic, Joel discusses the new, Commander (EDH) preconstructed deck, Phantom Premonition, a deck that will be released alongside Kaldheim, in February of 2021. These decks are well-tested and are good right out of the box, but what's great about Magic the Gathering, is it is a customizable card game. Joel discusses 10 cards that he would replace first, for under $20, that would make the deck better and more consistent without breaking the bank. Ranar the Ever-Watchful is at the helm of this Azorius Precon deck, and is all about getting the most out of Kaldheim's new mechanic: Foretell. Let's maximize that and replace sub-optimal cards to make this deck competitive! We are going to go over all of the updates/upgrades/revamps. Check out the video.
