I asked P80 for help on this. They suggested pinching the back rails and doing a little fitment and sent a HOA to video someone else made. That did help some, it’s not binding as hard now, like when I first put it together (I have another video where it’s baaaad). However that last little bit of going into battery seems to be having issues when the pin is all the way inserted.
Note: all of this worked in my OEM G19 lower. But I’m just not a fan of the angle on Glock handguns so I was trying out a P80 I got at a gun show (hadn’t been worked on at all).
This video is for them to view my progress, hopefully I have some insight to how it works!
Build pictured:
- P80 lower P940C Brownells edition with special aggressive stippling (I love this)
- OEM Glock trigger (unmolested)
- OEM lower parts mag release slide catch and slide lock
- Combat Armory threaded G19 barrel
- Brownell’s slide.
- OEM slide completion kit
- standard G19 recoil spring
- old Glock OEM law enforcement night sights I pulled from my G31 when I gave it suppressor height sights.
-OEM Glock 17 mag I have on hand.
-I think I covered it all but if I didn’t, ask me!
