While exploring Istanbul, we stumbled upon the oldest pickle shop which was nothing short of a heaven for pickle enthusiasts. The family-owned business has been thriving since 1913 and offers an array of pickle varieties that are made using traditional methods sans vinegar or lemon juice. The cherry on the cake was the realization that visitors could sit and order pickle juice of their choice along with pickles to relish. We couldn't resist trying the spicy and non-spicy mixed pickle juice which was simply amazing. Furthermore, we tried the one with pickles inside as well, just for curiosity's sake. Interestingly, the place had some of the oldest pickles we had ever seen, including one from 1966 and another from 1995. We urge you to visit this shop if you ever find yourself in Istanbul for an unparalleled experience.
