[ Ссылка ] - With most of its population sitting only three metres above sea level, climate change poses an existential threat for Kiribati, a Pacific Island nation with a population of 100,000 living in 32 islands spread across an area slightly smaller than India. Through the Kiribati Adaptation Program, the World Bank is supporting the Government to build resilience against the impact of climate change and other environmental threats.
