Video captured from Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas showed the effects of a monster storm with 120mph winds.

The severe weather event caused the ship’s itinerary to be cancelled.

Anthem of the Seas was forced to return to Cape Liberty after being hit with the 30ft waves off the coast of North Carolina.

The freak incident was filmed by Stephen Burke who was working on the cruise ship at the time.
