IPFT Legislator Dhananjoy Tripura has been booked for allegedly raping and deceiving a woman after promising to marry her.
The complainant who hails from Mandai area in West Tripura district alleged that she was socially engaged to the MLA from Rima Valley constituency - Dhananjoy Tripura.
Meanwhile, Dhananjoy Tripura rubbished the allegations and said that he has been wrongfully framed in the case by the opposition which is only trying to malign his image.
