That howling or grinding noise you can hear while your car or truck is rolling is a worn out or damaged wheel bearing. Your first symptom of a bad wheel bearing will be the noise. Eventually, there might also be a wobble, which will come with vibration and excessive tire wear. With either of these symptoms, you'll definitely need to replace the bearing!
