Phooo this one is the hardest of the ones I've tried so far. Going into it, I honestly wasn't even sure it was possible to do Radiant when I started! However, as I was figuring it out, I discovered it was possible to dash through the bat attack with a bit of good timing and distance.
*My charm loadout was as follows:*
**Sharp Shadow* - The extra distance is really nice, and maybe also necessary, but I honestly equipped this more for the damage. There are very few opportunities to hit NKG when you're ground-bound and Sharp Shadow is a really good one
**Dashmaster* - This charm has synergy with Sharp Shadow, giving it an extra 1.5x damage, the equivalent of what Strength does to the nail! There were also a few tight spots I got into, at least during the many many failed attempts of this where Dashmaster helped me recover.
**Spell Twister* - Being able to get more casts off is pretty critical, especially during pufferfish phases. Sometimes the RNG makes it so that nearly every wave has a ball on the ground, and the only way to safely get through those is a dive attack.
**Balder Shell* - Reviewing the footage, it actually doesn't look like I used this at all in the final attempt, opting instead to dive, but if I was ever worried I might not have enough soul to get through the next puffer phase, I would start a heal instead of diving, and be able to tank an attack (Usually the bat phase) and be totally safe. I used this a lot in practice and the failed attempts.
**Longnail* - Just a bit of extra swing distance is nice. If I was doing this with spiderlings and grubsong instead of Kingsoul, I would drop Longnail to not overcharm. My first few successful attempts at Attuned and Ascended did this.
**Kingsoul* - Limitless Soul baybee. Some kind of soul generation is needed in order to have enough to get through the puffer phases without an obscene amount of luck. It's faster than Weaverlings and Grubsong, but I'm still pretty sure Radiant is viable with those instead as well.
