Customers are the most critical assets for any business. Without them, all businesses would simply fail. Customer loyalty is essential for success. And today, I share a wonderful example of how to build customer relationships and customer loyalty, and some tips on how you might do the same in your own business.
Recently, I was looking through my parents’ old photos and stumbled upon this one card written by the mechanic to my dad. My dad actually kept it for 20 YEARS! It was written in the perspective of the car, thanking my dad for bringing it to the mechanic.
This was a very cute, clever, and definitely a memorable gesture that’s kept the mechanic on my dad’s mind. This is exactly the kind of interactions that help build lasting customer relationships, and a good illustration of how to build customer loyalty.
It actually really pays off to pay attention to the small things that would add to your customers’ smiles. Doing something as small as writing a note card could go a really long way.
