The Trolls are in trouble in the DreamWorks’ movie Trolls, and they’re in trouble in the new Trouble: Trolls Edition Game. Just like in the movie, the Bergens are on the move and in search of Trolls to eat for their annual feast. If you’re the first to get Poppy, Branch, DJ, and Fuzzbert safely home, you win. But watch out because the Bergens can pop up at any time. Will Guy Diamond protect you?

The Trouble: Trolls Edition Game plays like regular Trouble but with a few new movie-themed twists. Each player takes one set of four trolls, and then everyone takes turns pressing the dice roller and moving according to the dice rolled.

If you pop a number 1–5, move any troll already on the track that many spaces forward. If you pop a six, you can bring one of your trolls out of the holding area. If you roll a Bergen Bite, your move is blocked, while other players can move one of their trolls to start. If you roll Guy Diamond, place the Guy Diamond figure in his special spot in your holding area. For as long as you have Guy Diamond, you won’t lose a turn when you roll a Bergen Bite. But you have to give him away if another player rolls him. And if you roll a Hug Time, one of your trolls swaps places with another player’s troll.

Along with moving space to space around the board, there are also zip lines that allow the trolls to move from tree to tree faster. If you land on a zip line’s entry space by exact count, you can move directly to the next zip line.

The first player to get all four of his trolls home safely wins.
