Boomtick's throwing the biggest 90's dress-up party of the year on Saturday 3 November 2012, and to make it slap Oops Up side your head we're bringing the biggest dance act from the 90's, SNAP! That's THE POWER all right.
SNAP!'s international megahit The Power is one of the world's most played dance-tracks, taking the world by storm. Snap's 1990 debut album World Power has sold more than seven million copies and is one of the most successful dance albums, like, ever. It showcases not only The Power but other world hits like Ooops Up, Cult Of Snap and Mary Had A Little Boy.
Remember Rhythm Is A Dancer? Of course you do, it was the best-selling single of 1992 (UK). Snap sure gave us a lot to celebrate, but so did the 90s: the life and death of grunge, (way too many) boy bands, the Big Lebowski, Zubaz/MC Hammer pants, and Adam Sandler movies that were actually funny.
Excuses: you don't need one. Thanks to Milli Vanilli it'll always be Blame It On The Rain.
Dress: Air Jordans, Reebok Pumps, Doc Martins, Cosby sweaters, backward baseball caps, flannel shirts and double-denim (before it became ironic) or cross colour jeans...whatever you do, just make sure you dress 90's!
