You think more about your seating chart and if everyone else will be happy than enjoying your wedding. But, and this is a big but....So many people think that the wedding day is the pinnacle - the shining star - the end all, be all of marriage. Well, they are flat-out wrong. It's the journey. That long, fantastic adventure that you have with your spouse/partner. That's the excellent part. That's the marriage. The pain and the joy. The yin and the yang. Anyone that tells you it's all roses and everything is perfect is lying through their damn teeth. Marriage is hard. Work at it. Understand that it's a journey, and don't get caught up in the wedding day hype. Weddings are fun; everyone loves a good chicken dance, but they are not the marriage. Marriage is a journey, NOT a destination.
