COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — The debate is moving forward over a controversial law that would ban transgender medical care for kids and stop transgender athletes from playing women's sports.
Earlier this year, a judge blocked House Bill 68, also known as the SAFE Act, after the ACLU sued the state of Ohio, calling the law unconstitutional.
A hearing is scheduled to begin Monday morning in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.
