With the counting of votes for five poll-bound states about to conclude, the BJP seems to be in a position to return to power in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, and Manipur. The AAP has swept Punjab, winning 91 of the state's 117 seats. Congress has been reduced to 18 seats in Punjab, 13 in Uttarakhand, 4 in Manipur and 10 in Goa.
