Ingredients:
Prepared pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate, do not blind bake
Filling:
1⅔ lb baking apples of your choice, cored and diced
⅔ cup thick plain or vanilla-flavored yogurt
½ cup granulated sugar
3 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
Streusel Topping:
¾ cup all-purpose flour
½ cup brown sugar
6 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into cubes & chilled
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp salt
To Serve:
Roughly 2 tbsp caramel sauce per serving
⬇️ How to make Apple Yogurt Pie ⬇️
0:09 Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
0:12 Combine all your ingredients for the streusel topping. Set aside.
0:30 Prepare your filling. Beat your yogurt and egg together in a bowl.
0:40 Add the rest of your ingredients into a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
0:53 Add your yogurt mixture and fold until evenly incorporated.
0:59 Spread your filling into your prepared pie crust, then sprinkle the top with the prepared streusel.
1:2 Bake for roughly 50 minutes or until your filling is bubbly and golden brown.
1:15 Set aside at room temperature until your pie has cooled down completely.
