Chunky Salsa is perfect for anytime you are craving salsa! There’s nothing that beats the flavor of fresh homemade salsa, so skip the store bought stuff. It’s very easy to make and the longer you let it sit, the better it ends up tasting
Ok i now think i have perfected my salsa. After a few trial & errors i have finally made the perfect salsa like the one that is served at my favorite restaurant. I would take some home & snack throughout the day. This chunky restaurant style salsa is one of the best!
Comes together quick & so easy to make. Serve with homemade tortilla chips..yea its that good😊

5 roma tomatoes
2 tomatillos
16 oz petite diced tomatoes
3 jalapeños(deseeded optional)
1 serrano
1 whole onion(cut in squares)
5 garlic cloves
2 tsp each of:
Salt
Pepper
Cumin
Chicken bouillon
Oregano
Bunch of cilantro
Juice of a lime

In a pan with heat at med/high add the roma tomatoes,tomatillo,jalapeño,serrano,
onion & garlic cloves & cook until charred
Add to blender along with the 16 oz diced tomatoes,seasonings,cilantro & juice of lime
Pulse...DO NOT BLEND
Add to bowl & enjoy with homemade tortilla chips
✅You can double the recipe if you need to feed a bigger crowd
✅I removed the seeds from 2 jalapeños & it was just the right amount of spice. Not overpowering
✅You can use whatever seasonings you want or the ones i used
✅If you have leftover salsa,store in a jar & refrigerate. Will be good from 3-7 days
❌DO NOT blend salsa! This is a chunky salsa therefore just pulse it about 3 or 4 times
