@KassiReyes Concerned you may have an oversupply breast milk? An oversupply of milk often comes with an overactive letdown, oversupply and overactive letdown can be tough to manage. While an oversupply of milk may not sound like a bad thing, oversupply of milk pumping or oversupply breastfeeding, can lead to engorgement, plugged milk ducts and early weaning. An oversupply milk newborn is know as hyperlactation syndrome. If you have a gassy baby relief, are noticing green frothy poop, your baby choking on milk, or you are running out of space for your breastmilk storage, you have sore nipples, fast feedings, your baby always seems hungry, you may have a breastmilk oversupply. Some things like laid back nursing positions may help, you may need to change your breastfeeding schedule or your pumping schedule. Some medications and breastfeeding may cause your body to have an overproduction of breastmilk, too frequent pumping milk for newborn could be the culprit as well.
