The centre of Kosovo's capital was overrun on Thursday, with an estimated 30-thousand Kosovo Albanian demonstrators.
They took to the streets of Pristina in support of their leaders who are demanding independence from Serbia.
The protestors were watched closely by a large contingent of police, armed with batons and gas and wearing flak jackets.
In contrast to previous marches, this one passed off without incident, with security forces content to watch, refraining from intervention.
The police cordoned off the main government building to prevent any attempts to march on it.
The march was the latest in a series of protests and gatherings in recent weeks by independence-minded Kosovo Albanians, who comprise 90 percent of the province's population.
