We stumbled across this hidden wooden pathway called the monkey trail, that took us from Aonang Beach to Centara Grand Beach.
Normally you would pay a long tail boat to take your there for 200 baht. Or- you can chose to walk this trail which is approximately 10-15 min. And the best part, It’s Free!
Directions-
Walk to the far end of Aonang Beach, where you see the huge rocks.
Turn left, and walk up to the pebble bridge you’ll see in the video.
Cross the bridge, and you’ll see the path. It’s a little sketchy, so be careful. The hike is steep at some points, and very hot as there’s no air movement.
*At the time of this recording, there was a security officer at the end of the path. He took was taking temperature checks, and you were required to show him your vax status. You also had to sign in, and out. *
