To become president you basically need to have a lot of money and high smarts.
Make sure you have high smarts and high looks, otherwise you won’t be able to get elected. You can study political science then go to law school, this will give you a better chance but it doesn’t matter if you do. After graduating Law School get around $10,000 dollars to get into the School Board Director. After your term ends try to earn more money to become mayor. This is why I would recommend going to law school as you can become a lawyer in the meantime. I would recommend earning about over $200,000. After your term ends earn more money so you can become Governor. You will need over $500,000. When you are elected for Governor take advantage as you will then become famous. But be careful! As if you attend a photo shoot or be in a commercial your term will instantly end. After your term ends try to keep your fame up as this can earn you the most money from photo shoots, commercials and writing books. Now you can run for president! I would recommend having over $800,000. Hopefully you get elected for president! Good Luck!
