But more than 70 years later, the Nakba’s harsh legacy is felt in refugee camps across the Middle East, as Palestinians continue to be evicted from their homes so Israeli forces can use the land. Rep. Rashida Tlaib, the first Palestinian-American woman elected to Congress, has introduced a historic resolution calling on the U.S. to recognize the Nakba. She joins Mehdi to discuss.
