#iykyk right? In our humble opinion Lee's Bakery in Downtown Honolulu makes the BEST custard Pies (That we've ever had so far). They are best served HOT fresh from the bakery. I never had hot custard pie until I ate this one & once you go Lee's..it's hard to eat any other custard pie. but being foodies we keep on trying! LOL

Lee's is THE HOT SPOT to pick up food for the Holidays. Did you know that Lee's Bakery sells 3000 pies on thanksgiving day alone? That doesn't count the three days before that either! I don't even want to think about Christmas time when parties are scheduled all throughout December alone. They do very well for such a small little shop!

Local people queue up in lines that stretch down the block hours in advance and make reservations at least a month in advance to secure their pies for the holidays. And NOTE: even if you preorder your pie, you still have to wait in line like everyone else to pick it up. it seems odd but that's the way it is because you will still have your pies while others have to take the chance that there will be pies available or wait for the next batch to come out.

I preordered ours early so we could enjoy it as a thanksgiving pregame snack 😉 have you tried the custard, pumpkin or custard pumpkin swirl pie from Lee’s? If not you've got to make Lee's Bakery your next destination for some local kine sweet eats! it's TOTALLY worth the wait
