Somaliland ambassador to Kenya Mohamed Ahmed Mohamoud, has called for the strengthening of ties between Kenya and Somaliland.
Ambassador Mohamed who was leading Somaliland’s 33rd independence anniversary celebration at the Ngong Racecourse pointed out the people-to-people relationship between Somaliland and Kenya which he described as strong.
He said many Somaliland citizens live and work in Kenya, while Kenyans also contribute significantly to various sectors in Somaliland. Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris, who attended the celebrations noted that in the last parliament, they formed a friendship group to strengthen bilateral relations between the two nations.
