Here is a bit of the farm not everyone gets to see. Stored in the bin are organic soybeans, and you occasionally have to ventilate them, or dry them down, to prevent them from spoiling. Using a big fan that pushes air into a hollow perforated floor under the grain, the air travels up and out the vents at the top, removing moisture as it goes. If they are really wet (15-16% moisture and up) they should really be going through a heated grain dryer before going in this bin with no heated air. This is for you fan fans out there.
This is not from a dead stop, as you can see the fan moving a bit still, but it's pretty close.
