Step by step guide on how to cook Sinampalukang Manok or Sinigang na Manok
Ingredients:
Onion - 1 whole,chopped
Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon
Fish sauce - 2 tablespoon or adjust to your liking
Tomato - 4 pcs,chopped
Finger pepper - 4 pcs
White radish - 1 pc,thinly sliced
Taro - 2 to 3 pcs, chopped
Sampalok mix - good for 1 liter
String beans - 2 cups
Water - 1 liter and 1/8 cup
Chicken - 500g
Procedure:
Heat cooking oil
Saute Onion and Tomatoes
Add the Chicken and fish sauce then stir
Cover for 2 minutes
After 2 minutes add the water and ground black pepper
Cover for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes, Add Taro,Finger pepper and Sampalok mix
Cover for 25 minutes
After 25 minutes, taste the soup of saltiness, adjust to your liking by using fish sauce
If the soup's saltiness is fine to your taste, add White radish and string beans
Cover for 5 minutes
After 5 minutes, your Sinampalukang Manok is done!
Serve hot and Enjoy!
