Amita Deshpande is the founder of ReCharkha, a Pune-based organisation that upcycles plastic waste into beautiful bags, mats, potlis, jholas, cutlery kits, storage basket and more. She has upcycled 7 lakh plastic bags and employs 70 per cent women.
