I WANT TO PLAY A GAME. In 2005, Saw director James Wan would walk away from the franchise, opening the door for a new face to take the reins on the franchise. In stepped Darren Lynn Bousman, and Bousman would be responsible for establishing most the conventions that we think of when we think of Saw today. With a new director came 53 new Things You Missed.
In this video I'll be covering Saw II, which is even more loaded up with secrets than the first film. I'll be telling all about the contents of the undiscovered rooms of the Nerve Gas House, inspirations by real ancient torture devices, foreshadowing of events that would payoff years down the line, easter eggs hidden in plain sight throughout the film and an array of other horror references.
I'll also detail the blueprints and design sketches of traps while analysing what they might have been used for, explain some of the prototypes seen around John Kramer's workshop, dig out every small detail seen in the movie, identify the meaning behind hidden symbols and talk about how future films in the series can all be traced back to items found in Saw 2.

About Spiral
A sadistic mastermind unleashes a twisted form of justice in SPIRAL, the terrifying new chapter from the book of SAW. Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Samuel L. Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Chris Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
SPIRAL stars Chris Rock, Max Minghella, Marisol Nichols, and Samuel L. Jackson, and is produced by the original SAW team of Mark Burg and Oren Koules. The film is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and written by Josh Stolberg & Pete Goldfinger.
