In this video, I am going to share with you a very useful expression pedal trick to dial a clean rhythm guitar tone with a clean lead guitar tone within the same guitar patch. So no more hopping from footswitch to footswitch and foot-dancing in a live gig. Just use the expression pedal and express it!

On top of that, you can use this tone to play intros and arpeggio sections of any song that you would like. Now you can compose your own parts or play existing parts using this tone and easily manage between rhythm and lead guitar with a simple foot movement.

When you keep two different patches, the timing of switching to the next one is crucial and it does take some effort and attention on your part, which could lead to mistakes in playing. Using the expression pedal has a much natural downward and upward foot movement which can be managed far more easily and hence is a trick you must have!
