Hi everyone! In this lesson we're going to show you how to play "I'm Not The Only One" by Sam Smith. The chords are pretty simple - the challenge for this tune is found in the strumming/rhythm parts. Since this is a gospel style tune, I really encourage you to work out the rhythm as much as you can and to focus on the subtleties (HOW you're strumming, not WHAT). Also, don't forget to put your capo on the 5th fret! If you don't have one, I highly recommend it - but it's still possible to play it without one, it'll just change the key (and you won't be able to play it along to the recording).

Throughout the video I mention our eBooks (which are free for subscribers). Between both eBooks, we cover all the basics of rhythm AND lead guitar, so check them out if you need any extra help with the chord shapes or the hammer-ons/pull-offs/slides found in this tune. Here's the link - [ Ссылка ]

The chords are C, E, Am, F, G, F/G. We go over each of them briefly before moving on to the strumming pattern so if you need extra help please check out my rhythm guitar ebook (link above).
I hope you enjoy the lesson and I'll see you next week!
James
