Rarely the Garmin Vivoactive or Vivoactive HR may come into an issue with an App not being uninstalled properly, a reboot loop or the computer not detecting it. If you cannot fix it or access the menu options to perform a Factory Reset then this will help.
1. Turn off the Vivoactive
a. If you cannot turn it off, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds.
2. Press and Hold both buttons
3. The Vivoactive will vibrate, let go of the Power button but keep holding the Start/Stop button.
4. The Vivoactive will vibrate again, let go of the Start/Stop button.
5. Give it another few seconds and the Vivoactive will give a short vibrate to confirm it is about to turn on.
6. At Setup screen hopefully and should all be working.
