With coronavirus cases crossing four lakh-mark in Tamil Nadu, the state government has extended lockdown till September 30 with certain relaxations, including resumption of intra-state bus and metro services. As per the latest guidelines, intra-state bus services and Chennai Metro services will resume from September 1 and 7 respectively.
