edit- found out afterwards, using channel volume increase brightness and clarity on low volume settings, so if that is what you are after, do that, however on higher than bedroom levels, i would advice sticking with cranking the masters instead.

best amp i have had so far, even at bedroom level playing. i put it on 20w for home use btw, i heard people say the 40w mode sounds the best, and i agreed, and heard a big difference when playing loud, but when i dialed it in the way i have it set now (with a PRS guitar) the difference was minimal. I found it depends alot on your settings, whether the 40w sounds better than the 20w or not. with the right settings, the difference is neglible.
there is a hole thing about keeping the amp on the floor, vs raising it, and maybe then it will have a bigger difference? i will have to test and see, but for now, hopefully this video inspires someone out there who is having a hard time, finding good tones on this magnificent amp.
