I'm not an industry insider, I just have a passion for guns, hunting, and the outdoors. I buy all my own gear. I'm doing this channel only to share things with others that are interested in the same lifestyle. Also, I'm hoping to learn from others too so please share your thoughts and experiences in the comments. I carry the standard Sig P365 with the 10 round mag and a spare 12 round mag for my daily carry. I never leave home without it. If I could change one thing about the gun it is the snappiness for follow up shots. I practice all the time and have gotten accustom to it but when the P365 XL Spectre Comp came out I wanted to give this a try. They both use the same magazine pattern so you round counts aren't any different. You can easily fit the 15 round mag in the standard P365. I liked the idea of the comp to mitigate the muzzle rise and get back on target faster but that is at the cost of a slightly longer gun and a slightly larger grip too. I'll let you be the judge if the extra control the grip and comp provide are worth carrying a slightly larger gun. Or is it enough to just carry the P365 standard with a 10 round mag in the gun and an extra 12 or 15 round mag in your pocket?
