Large doll haul with varities from the well known to the obscure. There are very few dolls brands I don't like. I think variety is the spice of life and it really makes me excited when I find vintage dolls for awesome prices. Saving a doll from being thrown out in bins also makes me feel good, especially when there is little wrong with the doll. In this video I look at Bratz Styling Head, Uneeda Troll, Lalaloopsy doll, Bradley Doll or Senpo Doll, Baby Alive, My Buddy doll, LOL OMG, Pedigree Doll, Cabbage Pach Kids, My Child Doll and possibly some more (I am just rattling them off the top of my head and I forget things after editing for 30 minutes lol).
I have a little bit of a soft spot for Pedigree New Zealand dolls presently and i've been lucky to score a few this last year. I still have no managed to find a decent AA Pedigree doll so i'm hoping to rectify that in the coming year! Dolly goals.
My Child dolls by Mattel are hard to find in decent quality so I was happy to pay a bit more for this one. I might see 1 or 2 a year and usually they have hefty tags on them. I learnt a while ago to be careful with cloth faced dolls, they are a pain in the rear end to fix or clean. Some standard cleaning for vinyl faced dolls can't b e used as it ruins the cloth faced dolls.
Bradley / Senpo dolls are A-Ma-Zing. You can see a small nod at anime before anime really existed in these dolls. There are 'big eye' doll collectors who love these types. I can understand why.
My favourite find was the My Buddy doll and to think, if I hadn't said anything = he'd be in some tip somewhere. It pains my heart.
