This is how I was able to fix the SSL communcation error 'unable to find valid certification path to requested target'. After reading the solution at this site, [ Ссылка ] I found it was still not so clear since I don't work on tomcat everyday.

This video covers downloading and compiling the InstallCert.java, executing the program that creates the cert store, then copying out that file to the jre\lib\security\ folder.
