The video shows a drawn arc stud welding machine in action. The shear studs are being welded on the metal sheet. The fastest method to fasten the shear stud on a surface. The process looks very easy and welder is using the process single-handedly and fastening the studs. The drawn arc is based on the principle of the arc welding process. Here strong is created between the surface of metal and base of shear studs once the electric current is passed through it. The heat lead on to melting of both surface. The stud gun applied a specified pressure to fix the stud in the cooling of the molten metals.
