Both have a standard 7” digital driver display in Canada, in the US, standard 4.2”, available 7”. If you are looking for an inexpensive hybrid, the Toyota Corolla is the winner. The base trim Corolla Hybrid AWD model is $9,499 CAD/$4,650 USD less than the Prius AWD base model. Top trim to top trim, the Prius is an extra $9,039 CAD/$9,265 USD. Keep in the mind the top trim XLE model in the US is a FWD model. If you choose the SE Infrared AWD model which has less features but a sportier look, the difference is an extra $8,690 USD for the Prius.
The Toyota Prius is more fuel efficient, the AWD model gets 4.8L/100 km, 49 MPG city and 4.7L/100 km, 50 MPG highway. The Corolla hybrid AWD model 5.0L/100 km, 47 MPG city and 5.7L/100 km, 41 MPG highway.
