Regional Mexican-formatted “Radio Lobo”, owned by SummitMedia.
This massive FM signal, which became the first fulltime Spanish language FM station in the Wichita market in 2002, broadcasts from near Winfield (SE of Wichita). Despite its more Southern location, it blasts well to the North. (The static you’re hearing is the electricity flowing through my house.) Normally, I can get it clear like a local (even though my location is outside of their projected contour), but WDAF from KC has been fighting with it the last few days.
