Silent Dawn was premiered by the DaCapo Chamber Choir of Waterloo, Ontario (Canada) in March of 2004, and recorded and released on the choir's critically acclaimed debut album entitled STILL. The piece has since been performed by numerous choirs, helping establish Corlis' reputation as "a composer of great depth and passion, not to mention a pristine polished craft."
