Australia's Immigration Minister Peter Dutton says he would have no objection if refugees held on the Pacific island of Nauru were resettled in New Zealand.
Australia runs offshore prison camps for refugees in Nauru, as well as Papua New Guinea's Manus Island.
In the past, Australia's appeared to rule out the proposal.
