I get a lot of questions about using the Cricut to create stained glass pattern templates. I absolutely love it ... Please note that I'm a software nerd, so no, I dont find it difficult to get my design into the Cricut app, though I do hear people struggle with this first time.
Anyhow, here's a quick video to show you the machine cutting my pattern out on sticky-back vinyl ... I found that the cheapest roll of permanent vinyl stays on long enough to cut and grind the glass, and still peels off easily when I'm ready.
What am I cutting? I'm cutting out art glass hot air balloons ... 176 tiny pieces of glass to make 12 balloons
btw the Cricut model I have is an Explore Air 2 - highly recommended!
