Just about a year last year, the 35-year old Kobe Bryant began his 9th summer Nike Basketball Tour starting off with China first on August 22, 2014. The campaign is called 2014 Nike RISE campaign where 30 participants are personally invited.
Kobe Bryant hosted those selected 30 players at a state-of-the-art basketball facility called the "House of Mamba" in Shanghai, China. Some lucky chosen players played a 1-on-1 game with Kobe Bryant himself, and Kobe definitely showed no mercy playing 1-on-1 against these young Chinese players.
Make sure you have your medical insurance, health insurance and life insurance before playing a 1 on 1 game with Kobe Bryant himself!
This 2014 Nike RISE Campaign also included LeBron James as the special guest in Taiwan and China.

● Kobe Bryant retired back in 2016 as the NBA's third all-time leading scorer behind only Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Karl Malone. His career earnings were second to none though. Bryant banked $680 million in salary and endorsements during his two-decade career. It is the most ever for a team athlete during their playing career. Bryant had the highest salary in the NBA for the last six years.
The five-time NBA champion still has his endorsement relationships with Nike, Hublot and Panini though he has moved away in recent years from straight endorsement deals in favor of being a business owner. In August he and entrepreneur Jeff Stibel officially set up a $100 million venture-capital fund, Bryant Stibel, to invest in technology, media and data companies. They have already invested in 15 companies together since 2013 including sports media website The Players Tribune, legal-services company Legal Zoom, mobile game designer Scopely, Alibaba Group and others.
Before starting the 1996–97 NBA season, Bryant signed a six-year contract with Adidas that was worth approximately $48 million. His first signature shoe was the Equipment KB 8. Bryant's other earlier endorsements included deals with The Coca-Cola Company to endorse their Sprite soft drink, appearing in advertisements for McDonald's, promoting Spalding's new NBA Infusion Ball, Upper Deck, Italian chocolate company Ferrero SpA's brand Nutella, Russell Corporation, and appearing on his own series of video games by Nintendo. Many companies like McDonald's and Ferrero SpA terminated his contracts when allegations against him became public. A notable exception was Nike, Inc., who had signed him to a five-year, $40–45 million contract just before the incident.
However, they refused to use his image or market a new shoe of his for the year but eventually did start promoting Bryant once his image recovered two years later. He has since resumed endorsement deals with The Coca-Cola Company, through their subsidiary Energy Brands, to promote their Vitamin Water brand of drinks. Bryant was also the cover athlete for NBA '07: Featuring the Life Vol. 2 and appeared in commercials for the video games Guitar Hero World Tour (with Tony Hawk, Michael Phelps, and Alex Rodriguez) in 2008 and Call of Duty: Black Ops (alongside Jimmy Kimmel) in 2010.
Kobe Bryant has collaborated with FC Barcelona and Turkish Airlines during his prime days in the NBA. Kobe Bryant is also one of the global ambassadors of the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China. Bryant has since established his own brands which includes Kobe Inc and Mamba Sports Academy.
