The Wrestling Spot traveled to Antioch Community High School for the first leg of the triple threat tournament, which took place on in Antioch, IL.
The triple threat takedown tournament has its own set of rules where regular takedowns are still scored as two points, takedowns to the back with a two second nearfall count are worth three points, and takedowns with a five second nearfall count are worth 4 points. There are no falls, but matches can end in a technical fall (standard 15 point differential).
This 128-pound match was between Evan Glowinski of Warren High School [G] and Addison Hodges of McHenry Wrestling Club [R].
The result was a technical fall (16-0).
