Time to have a talk about Revolut Metal… again.

If you’ve never heard of Revolut before – this basically is financial smartphone app; Quite similar to a digital wallet. The basic service is for free, and if you need a great looking metal card and some premium services – that would cost you a minor fee per month.

Let’s start with the first and most widely used feature – the currency conversion.
I actually use Revolut every time I am traveling. And this reminds me of the most important benefit of the metal subscription – you can literally travel without cash. I’ve recently traveled to support Manchester united in Belgrade for their game with Partizan – I had zero cash, and Revolut was a great way to withdraw Serbian dinars without additional fees from the closest ATM.
Second awesome thing you can do – buy a house in a different country! Apparently Revolut Metal is amazing for international transfers because it helps you avoid almost all the bank fees applied. Even if you negotiate with your bank a lower rate of only 2 or 3% fee, based on the 81 000 euro – 2% is 1620 EUR.
The benefit of the metal subscription is that you won’t be charged with extra fees for such a large transfer.
Usually international transfers take a few days. But what we now have and is free to metal users is the free “turbo transfers” feature. Which would occur up to five times faster than the usual time spent for an international transfer.
Cool feature number four – and it seems to be possible for each of Revoluts plans: I bet that everybody has been in this position – a big group of people, you go to the restaurant, and you want to split the bill. If you have a Revolut account - go to the transaction, choose “split bill”, and select the people from your contact list, and let them know how much they owe you back! Fast, and easy, doesn’t involve cash, doesn’t involve additional bank fees. Super easy and super simple.
Number five is stock trading. Buying stocks has never been easier! With the metal subscription – it is a few taps away – and you can invest as little as 1 dollar. Find the stock that you like, buy as much as you want, and ready, you are now a stock owner. Because I am not too familiar with stock trading, I can’t say if the integration with Revolut metal can challenge the larger stock markets – but if you know more – let us all know in the comments below the video about your experience.
And, last but not least – this metal Revolut card lets you use the London tube. Unfortunately not for free. Yeah – so many people don’t know about it, but you can actually use yoiur credit or debit card instead of a ticket or those Oister cards – just check – in, travel, check out – and you will immediately receive the transaction notification;

These are only 6 ideas. And there are way more opportunities to unleash your financial creativity. To be successful nowadays, you need to carefully manage your finances. Revolut is a great tool for that, and if you have a lot of monthly transactions, you travel a lot, and are surrounded by people that prefer to not use cash – the metal subscription is one of the best things you can reward yourself with.
