The genesis for the project came after a disappointing Google search for the 10 most beautiful streets in London. What did I find? Over a dozen blogs listing a bunch of unconvincing and mostly unimpressive "Instagrammable" streets from various tourists who simply don't know the city like a local does. Having lived and breathed London for 10 years across multiple bases (flats, jobs and... well, ex-girlfriends' flats) I feel a responsibility to show the world where the beauty really lies in the UK's capital.
The plan is as follows: upload 100 or more walks of streets which I feel belong on the list in no particular order. After this comes the challenge where I assemble them in order and present the list to the world.
Having sunk some serious hours in already, I have a shortlist of just over 100 streets for consideration. I must stress, if you have suggestions for streets you'd like to see then please discuss in the comments below. I respond to almost all comments! I will take likes/dislikes as a form of feedback as well, of course. Plus if you have friends and family who love London, by all means share the videos! I could use all the feedback I can get. :)

Located in Covent Garden in London's West End is Monmouth Street, WC2. It comprises one of the Seven Dials, where seven streets converge.
The street has a history dating all the way back to the 17th century, named after the Earls of Monmouth, who owned land in the area. In the 19th and early 20th century Monmouth Street and the Seven Dials area had become one of the poorest slums in London, receiving derision from famous authors such as Charles Dickens and Agatha Christie. However as times have changed, it is now in one of the most popular tourist areas of London.
Monmouth Street is one of two streets from which you can access the very popular hidden gem: Neal's Yard (the other access point being Short's Gardens).
