Watch as Brett Zekowski explains how visual exhibits help jurors to understand your personal injury case if it goes to trial.
If you have been hurt in an accident and your case is going to trial, you may have questions about what will happen. In most cases, expert medical testimony from your doctor will be presented. Your doctor will likely use visual exhibits to demonstrate to the jurors the nature and cause of your injuries, as well as those injuries’ implications for your pain and physical limitations that are the result of the accident.
In a previous case, our client suffered a torn rotator cuff as the result of a car crash. This type of injury is outside of the understanding and experience of most jurors. In order to help these jurors to understand the injury, an expert witness – a doctor – took the stand. The doctor explained the nature of the injury and how it affects our client.
The use of expert testimony with visual exhibits gave the jury a better frame of mind for understanding the incident, and it therefore helped them to make a clear judgment in our client’s favor. Watch the video to learn more.
