October 23, 2018: I just found out there is finally a restoration that has been made of this film, and you can download it from iTunes! It looks fantastic! The wires have been removed!

I have always very much enjoyed my 1993 LaserDisc copy of one of my favorite motion pictures, "The War of the Worlds" [1953] as I believe it still has the best sound of any home release of this film. It included the music & special effects soundtracks in a Stereo mix, something that I have not heard of or seen since in any subsequent release.

I finally got a hold of an HD source for "The War of the Worlds" and today synced up my LaserDisc Stereo Soundtrack to that source and wanted to share a 5 minute sampler of my efforts, which I hope you enjoy.
