Reset Battery Management System manually.
Resetting the Ranger Battery Management System without use of tools, ForScan, etc
Works for my 2018 Ranger Wildtrak 2.2L 4x4 MT, hope works for you too!
1. be on a flat ground
2. turn ignition key to ON (not starting the engine)
3. wait till all instrument panel indicator lights are off except Engine and Battery icons
4. flash High-beam light 5x
5. press Brake 5x
6. wait for 3 seconds
7. if Battery icon blinks 4x, means BMS successfully reset

Another way to reset BMS is to allow the vehicle 8 hours of sleep-time (meaning doors closed and key off)
