Kefir is one of the best probiotic foods and in my oppinion one of the easiest to make. It has more of the good stuff than yogurt and is more cost effective. Once you get some Kefir grains going, they can turn milk into Kefir for years to come! This video will cover the steps for making Kefir using active Kefir grains which can be purchased online on sites like Etsy or Amazon and can also be obtained from a friend. For anyone buying dehydrated Kefir grains, you will need to rehydrate them first by following the instructions on the package. You can use raw milk or store bought milk depending on what state you live in and what is available to you.
